Rosie Morgan is wife of the owner, Ron Morgan, and hails from Ruislip, England. Rosie brings her expert office managerial skills to LAKEDOG from her days as a secretary for a real estate firm in England, bookkeeper for a Montgomery shoe retailer, and bookkeeper and money manager for a Montgomery ophthalmologist. She took the office reigns for Ron when he opened his own appraisal office, leaving for 5 years when she worked for the Montgomery County Tax Appraisal Department. Rosie has managed Ron’s office since 1991, when the business was moved to Nixburg from Montgomery to specialize in lakefront property appraisals.
Besides her duties at LAKEDOG, Rosie writes a weekly community news column for the Alexander City Outlook newspaper. She served as Chairman of the Heritage of Coosa County history publication. She is a life member of the Coosa County Historical Society, a patron of the Alexander City Arts Council, a member of the Kellyton Friendly Citizens, and founding Queen Mother of the Southern Belles Red Hat Society Chapter.
